Q: What model of PDA does PocketMV support?
A: PocketMV should be able to support all PDAs/devices running on Microsoft
WinCE OS (Operating System) from version 2.11 to version 4.2 (.NET) which also
includes all version of PocketPC (PPC2000, PPC2002, PPC2003 and PPC2003SE). Currently PocketMV also partially support
Smartphone which runs on Microsoft WinCE OS.
Q: What processor does PocketMV support?
A: PocketMV support ARM/MIPS/SH3/SH4.
Q: I have multiple PDAs/devices, must I purchase license (Registration
Key) for all my PDAs/devices?
A: Yes. One license can only be run on one PDA/device. If you have multiple
PDAs/devices and you only wish to buy 1 license, please make sure you decide which device you wish to register
because the license is not transferrable to another PDA/device. Click here to purchase.
Q: I am already a registered user, is the Registration Key still be valid for this upgrade version 0.3.0?
A: Yes, the Registration Key is still valid. But there is a bug in the previous version 0.2.0 and so you will need to re-register with the previous given Registration Key. This bug have been solved in version 0.3.0 and so you won't need to re-register if there is anymore upgrades available in future.
Q: Can PocketMV be run on PalmOS
A: No.
Q: Is there any limitation in the trial copy?
A: Yes, beside the 8 mins time limitation, the trial copy have all the features and functionalities available.
Q: What is the differences between PPC - PocketMV0.3.0_PPC_ARM.zip and PPC - PocketMV0.3.0_PPC2003_.NET_ARM.zip?
A: PocketMV0.3.0_PPC_ARM.zip can be run on all PocketPC ARM based processor but PocketMV0.3.0_PPC2003_.NET_ARM.zip can only be run on PocketPC 2003 and PocketPC 2003 Second Edition. But the exe file for PocketMV0.3.0_PPC2003_.NET_ARM.zip is smaller than PocketMV0.3.0_PPC_ARM.zip. I have yet to find any difference in the execution speed though. If anyone find any difference in speed, please let me know.
Q: I have TomTom Navigator and it working with TomTom Bluetooth GPS but PocketMV cannot open the GPS COM port!
