New! Microsoft desktop installer for PocketMV

Important - If the installer above does not work for your device, try to download the device specific executable below. Please read before you start downloading

There are 3 main type of release.
1. Pocket PC (PPC)
2. Handheld PC (HPC)
3. Smartphone (SP)

The main reason is to make use of the special User Interface (UI) of Pocket PC. But you can be sure that ALL the features and functionalities are the same for both except the UI. One more thing to note is that HPC executable can be run on PPC but not vice visa. Try it! As for Smartphone version, features are lesser due to it non-touchscreen nature.

Installation
No installation is needed. (I will try to provide an installation file in near future)
1. Download the correct file for your PDA/device
2. Unzip all the files inside
3. Copy whatever files that are being unzipped into your PDA using Microsoft Activesync
4. Please also remember to transfer your maps if you have not done so

File content
There are altogether 4 files in the zipped file
1. PocketMV.exe
2. License.txt
3. \sound\GPS_On.wav
4. \sound\GPS_Acquired.wav
Important: please copy all the files in their correct folder into the PDA (in the same folder order which they are unzipped). The program will still be able to run but just with no sound for GPS (when GPS is intially turned on and when GPS signal is acquired). You can delete the 2 wav files if you don't like voice or you can also replace the wav file to the language you want :)

Usage: Please unzip the file and place the pmvlang.dll in the same directory as PocketMV.exe or you can place it in the \Windows\ directory. If you intend to use only English, you can ignore this dll file.
